Sledding

By Eric

Ryan, Isaac, (cousins) and me were out sledding one day. We found the very very big hill. The slope was around 45-50 degrees. We walked for about 20-25 min to get to the top of the hill. Isaac said that we should race. So Ryan was in the middle I was on the side and Isaac was on the other side. Off we went There were two 5 foot drops that didn’t look so bad until you went off them. Ryan went of the first on a crashed very bad. Then it was Isaac and me there was one last jump and both of us landed. Then there was holes where deer have ate to get food and we flow into the air when we hit them. Then crashed. Then  we made a very bad idea me made a jump at the last drop off. So the I when first and I landed it and crashed into the fence. Ryan missed it. Isaac wanted to try his entretup but not on the jump. He went flying down the hill and then the fence was there and he hit it. So then we had to go back to the house so Isaac could recover.

When was where there my brother (Devin) and more cousins(Mark, Sarah, Brad, Steven, Calub)  showed up. This time we could use the 4-wheeler. Then we tied a sled behind the 4-wheeler the I grabbed the sled and then we made a train or 3 sleds behind a 4-wheel with 4 people on it. This time we made it up the hill fast, but making it up we another story. The train was so long.  We were going around a      Then we goin down Calub crash I was behind him and somehow missed him. Then Devin came down with the 4-wheeler with Ryan and Brad. The 4-wheeler even flow off the jumps, but lucky no crashes. We bought up the toboggan we all go on it was off we went. We almost made to field which was about 4-5 1/2 football field long. The we go a ride back up with the 4-wheeler. When we going down Ryan was right in path with a tree. He hit the tree and Ryan won battle with the tree. The tree was a half an inch thick and 4 feet tall. I went down after Ryan killed a tree because he was crying. I lost control of my sled and start going down backwards. There was a drop off that I forgot about and I crash bad. We got Ryan to feel better and we got to sled for another 1 hour. On  When made it back. My grandma had bars for us and diner. We all were tired out and got to go home.

I loved the intensity, but I also loved how you make it feel like your right there watching the whole thing.

I like how you give detail about how long and tall stuff was. You described it well and gave me a good picture in my mind of where you were sledding! It was an interesting story!

I liked how you used some expresion when you said you crashed. With all of your details it was very easy for me to come up with a picture in my mind of you sledding and crashing. Good job and im glad nobody hurt them selves while sledding!
