Cousin War

“Part 2”

By: John McTaggart

3/26/14

On August 4, 1864, a whole 10 years after Clint Eastwood had shot his long lost cousin Lint Eastwood. The day that Clint shot Lint, Clint thought for sure that Lint was dead. But what Clint did not know was that Lint used special ninja focus to slow his heart rate so Clint would think that he would be dead, Lint’s plan worked to perfection. After Clint left the scene Lint got up and went to the doctor and got the bullet removed. Now Lint is back for revenge.

Clint was still the mayor of the small town of Shagingberg in the old west. He was enjoying a refreshing beverage before going to the town council meeting. But what he would least expect happen happened. He opened the door and there was his cousin Lint. Clint was baffled; he thought for sure that he shot Lint. What Clint doesn’t know is that the bullet missed Lint’s heart by ½ of a nanometer. Clint tried to explain to Lint but Lint would not listen, before Clint could say anything else, Lint hit him on the side of the head with a shovel.

Clint woke up in a strange room that he had never seen before. He could see a man lurking in the shadows. Then the man walked into the light, it was no other than Lint Eastwood. Clint was tied to a chair, and the chair was bolted to the ground, so Clint wasn’t going anywhere. Clint wanted to know where he was at, but what he doesn’t know is that he is in his own house. While Lint was Mayor and staying in the house, he had built a secret room just for emergencies.

Lint started to torture Clint in ways that are unthinkable. Lint wanted to make sure that Clint would die a slow and painful death. But what Lint didn’t count on is the towns’ people wondering why Clint did not show up to the council meeting. They knew that Clint would not miss it for anything. So they started a search party, where people went around town looking for him.

They started out with the mansion; they looked everywhere and found nothing. So they all sat down to make a new plan, but when a mother took a book from the bookshelf to read a book for her child, a secret passage way opened. It leads down a long hallway where there was a door at the end. They opened it; they came just in time because when they opened the door Lint was going to cut off Clint’s arms. They all stormed in to save their beloved mayor.

Every person who lived in town jumped on top of Lint. They finally got a hold of Lint then the local Sheriff put handcuffs on him and took him to the most secured prison in the United States of America. Every one was so happy that Clint was ok they had a party especially for him. The mayor of Shaqingberg is safe, for now.

I liked the way you described how Lint ALMOST died, and how you left an open ending, making the reader wonder what will happen next.

I like how you said that Lint used "special ninja focus" to pretend that he was dead when Clint shot him.

I like how at the end you put that the mayor was safe, for now. It leaves me thinking about what may happen next, good job.

I like how the towns people took their own time to find the mayor and arrest the cousin.

I like how the people find the way to Clint by a mother pulling a book off the shelf to read to her child. Good job!

This story was awesome. I liked how Clint almost died, but he didn't and how Lint survived the bullet.
