Police Dog
“Sick it girl”, said my trainer Police Officer Matthew. I try to smell which of the four small boxes has the drugs, but the there must be other things in the boxes like dog treats, soap, deodorant, and lots of other stuff. I must choose the right one or else I won’t be able to be on the K9 Police Force (K9PF) tomorrow, but if I choose the right one I will be an honorary police dog for finding drugs and chasing criminals instead of cats. Slowly I sniff each box trying to remember what scent smells like marijuana. Then I get a whiff of something that smells familiar, I follow it and it leads be to the third box to my left. To tell Matthew that I chose this box I sit down in front of the box and wait patiently for him to come. Matthew lifts up the box and to his surprise he finds the marijuana underneath it. Matthew picks up all the boxes and puts them into one large box, and then he takes a leash and hooks me up. Matthew starts taking me to a large kennel in the back of his police car with other dogs and puts me in there with some pieces of jerky. Once have drove a couple of blocks through town, Matthew pulls up to a white house with a blue roof that has a chain link fence that has lots of dogs inside. He lets all the dogs out including me and hooks us up to a bunch of leashes. Once we are inside the other dogs get put into a bunch of kennels, but I am still hooked up to the leash. Matthew brings me to another police officer comes to me with a dog vest that has a police K9PF badge on it, I guess this means I am now an honorary police dog.

I found it interesting how the dog would be able to sniff out the drugs with all the other smells coming in.

It was very interesting when you where telling the dog what would happen if he didn't choose the right box.

I like how you told the story from the dogs point of view, it really caught my attention and it made me think that I was actually talking to a police dog, only I know that they cant talk to me, But I really liked your story!
