LEGOS
I love to play with legos when I have free time. Just in case you don’t know what legos are I will tell you. Legos are little bricks that are made of plastic and can be stacked on top of each other to make awesome creations. For example, one time I built a giant spaceship out of my legos.
I have a lot of legos at home, I have three tubs full of them and each tub holds up 10,000 pieces and an instruction book for you to build something with your new legos. The only thing that is bad about legos is that if you drop one on the floor it is either going too sucked up by the vacuum or eaten by a smaller sibling. When I first got my legos my little sister was only a couple of months old and was starting to eat things off of the floor and I dropped one of my legos on the ground and she ate it and choked on it so my mom had to perform the Heimlich on her so make sure that your little siblings don’t eat them.
You can make tons of things with legos such as a Lego car, a spaceship, a house, even animals. You can also mix two or even more creations together to make something weird just for fun. Sometimes I will get all of my legos and build a giant tower and then knock it over but then I have to pick them all up so most of the time I just build the tower and then take it all apart so I can build it again. Also, if you build something really cool that you don’t want to take apart and you have younger siblings, put it somewhere where they can’t reach it or they will most likely want to play with it and it will end up falling apart and then you have to put it back together again.
You can also buy special legos that light up and there is another type of legos that bendable so that you can make an arc or a circle. I used to have some of the light up legos and I made some stars and put sticky tack on the back of them and then put them on my ceiling so that every night it looked like there were stars on my ceiling.
You can also specially order legos that are already put together and have a motor on them so that you can program it to move in certain directions and how far to move. You can even make it do donuts. There is also another one that you have to order that has a motor but also has arms and hands and you can program it to pick up things and move to another spot or you can make it pick stuff up and throw it which is my personal favorite thing to do with them.
Legos are so popular and fun that they have made movies about them. For example they have just came out with “The Lego Movie” and it was #1 at the box office because so many people liked it and wanted to watch it over and over again. They have even made video games about legos. For example they have made the game “Lego Indiana Jones” and even “Lego Batman”.
