State Fair

The summer is the best time of the year for more then just one reason. If you want to have a blast just go to the state fair.
I love going to the fair there is so much to do. You can walk around and talk to people. If you are feeling a little hot you can go through the sprinklers. You can look at the biggest bull in Iowa at the state fair. Then you could work your way in to the pig buildings and see the biggest pig in Iowa the last year’s biggest pig was from Postville. The state fair is obviously in Des Moines. When we go we stay at my aunts house. We are barely ever there we get there about one in the morning then leave at five in the morning I have to be there so early so that I can take care of my pigs and we don’t leave the fair till after one because we have to stay and watch and keep it clean. They have a building that has the butter cow in it that’s cool to look at. Last year someone put a sign on it that said “Go Vegan”. I don’t even know why some one that wanted to be vegan would be at a fair very thing there is agriculture. (Or has a lot to do with animals). I also like summer at the fair because it is nice and hot out. Knew people to meet all the time. I show pigs at the state fair. I’m going to be there a lot this summer the fair last two weeks. I think that we go to the state fair for FFA for 3 days. Then my family usually goes for 5 days. I love the state fair but the day after I get back from the state fair I have to go to school I usually miss the first two days of school. Witch is fine by me. One year Audrey came to the state fair with us that was fun. We got to hang out most the day. I wish that I could have fair whenever I wanted and as much as I want. I got three new things at the fair this year I got boots, a show stick for cattle, and a whip thing for my pigs. Two years ago when we had the old van the water all ran out and the van over heated so we had to wait there for about a hour till some other people we know well drove by and picked us up. Good thing that we had friends on the way on the same day.
There are many things to see and do at the fair you would be surprised with all the things you can see and do. The fun us summer is going to fair.
