First Golf Meet
Freshman year
my first golf meet
extremely nervous
waiting to be dismissed
longest bus ride ever
to the Elkader Golf Course
anxiously waiting to begin
while discussing rules
walking to the first hole
getting ready to tee off
shaking on the tee box
feeling of relief
after first tee shot
golfing well for the
first time on the course
excited with my final score
team victory

Lexi, I liked when you said, longest bus ride ever, because it showed how you couldn't wait to start golfing and find out how your first meet would go.

I like how you built up the feeling of nervousness by talking about the bus ride and sitting in class waiting to be dismissed, then the relief after getting the first shot over with!
