PIE Awards

            PIE awards are awarded once a semester to students showing academic excellence.  The 2008-2009 second semester awards were given out Wed, Sept. 9, 2009. 

            The First Time Award is awarded to seniors any semester after having completed five classes with a cumulative grade point average of 3.100 or better.  The only senior given this award was Brandon Davis.

The First Time Award is award is awarded to juniors any semester after having completed five classes with a cumulative grade point average of 3.100 or better.  There were no new juniors receiving this award.

(A)       The First Time Award is awarded to sophomores for three or four semesters with a cumulative grade point average of 3.250 or better.  Sophomores receiving this award were Greg Erickson and Kim Kleve.

(B)       Freshman receiving this award were: Row 1-James Thompson, Lexi Frieden, Carmen Chapmen, Amber Kurdlemeyer, and Kandice Gerleman.  Row 2-Max Medberry, Riley Sebastian, Matt Imoehl, Levi Fink, Ben Hemesath, Leah Gage, and Morgan Thias.

The  Certificate of Achievement is awarded to students who have previously been awarded the First Time Award and who have continued to meet their class level cumulative GPA minimum and academic requirements.  Seniors recieving this award were Marcy Amundson, Tess Burgin, Grant Burke, Joshua Butikofer, Keri Erickson, Mat Fassbinder, Naomi Hanson, Shalee Hanson, Liz Hemesath, Sarah Jacobs, Kirstin Knobloch Sara Koehn, Damien Matt, Marla Metzger, Josie Reinhardt, Kevin Schneider, Arial Sebastian, Alexis Spain, Heather Voshell. 

(C)       Juniors receiving this award were: Row 1-Kenna Liebe, Ashley Callahan, Chelsi Baker, Joelle Davis, Becca Hemesath, and Sara Reierson.  Row 2-Joe Strong, Dacia Jacobsen, Shantel Lehmann, Kenzie Nading, Katie Kleve, Tyler Schori, Jacob Molumby, Seth Howard, Ryne Smith, Bob Olson, Megan Britt, and                         

(D)       Sophomores given this award were: Row 1-Angela Williams, Kendra Knobloch, Megan Dummermuth, Erica Jacobsen, and Tyler Wagner.  Row 2-Anna Burke, Natalie Moore, Robbie Kerr, Jeff Erickson, Rachael Strong, and Zach Monroe.  

The Certificate of Achievement is awarded to students who have raised or maintained their grade point average from the previous semester, average six academic classes per semester, have no grade lower than a C for the past semester, but have not yet attained the required grade point average.  Seniors receiving this award were Ashley Aylsworth, Craig Bultman, Jarrett Johnson, John Kleppe, John Krentz, Jacob Loomis, Dylan Moore, Rachel Opperman, Matt Reierson, Mitchell Schott, and Cathwren Tash. 

(E)       Juniors given this award were: Row 1-Brianna Lehmann, Jenna Siebrecht, Brandon Torkelson, Andrew Wettleson, and not pictured-Paul Seabrooke. 

(F)       Sophmores Given this award were: Row 1-Dakota Phillips, Kara Peterson, Abby Richards, and Ashley Reierson.  Row 2-Blaine Evermann, Stephanie Cronin, Nate Davis, Steven Kress, and Jack Davis.
