Pollution

Pollution is as old as the Earth itself. An ancient volcanic eruption would send gasses into the atmosphere that caused pollution. When mankind evolved, we added to the pollution, as humans have always created trash and gasses in one form or another. None can really control pollution because their will always be waste.

Air pollution has become a real threat to our ecosystem.  Ozone depletion destroys our delicate system of gasses that protects and sustains our world.   One of the ways this happens is from carbon dioxide emitted from motor vehicles. It has been shown that 7 million people die each year as a result of this harmful type of toxic pollution.

Pollution at the hands of man is another type. With the earth’s population increasing we see more garbage pollution. This problem is increased with the lack of proper disposal. This can be glass, tin, paper products and plastics. Some of these are not biodegradable.

Water pollution has affected our existence as of today. This problem will affect us all.

This will cause water shortages and sea levels to rise.  People must do what they can to prevent this. One way is to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Clean water and a clean environment sustain plants, animals, and us, as humans. Therefore, we all must do our part in helping manage pollution everyday for a cleaner tomorrow.

Global Warming

Global warming refers to the warming of the earths climate due to a rise in temperature.  Humans are largely to blame. Global warming is caused by carbon emissions in the atmosphere. This affects our environment by causing glaciers to melt, water levels to rise, and climate changes. As the earth heats up and ice melts, the earth's natural system is changed. This change causes extinction of animals and other life.

Land is also lost by higher water levels. This means we have less farmland to grow food leading to food shortages. This effect on the world is impacting us today. With the increase in climate temperature their have been more outbreaks of wildfires, causing the animals to be displaced and their habitats devastated. If we don't lower our carbon emissions in the atmosphere our problems will get worse.

Global warming can be slowed down. We need to take steps such as slowing the emissions of carbon in the air. This will help us cut down on the warming trend. Slowing down the warming trend means less temperature change in the environment. This will make for a better future for us and other generations.

Many people argue about these to topics, but I like how you just gave it straight and gave mostly fact with your opinion on the side.
